Job Description

We at The Home Depot are looking for an Associate to join our Freight/Receiving team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer service-oriented and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications: excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in freight/receiving or inventory is a plus, but not required.If you are looking to join a team where you can make a real impact and contribute to a growing business, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments in accordance with company procedures.
  2. Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  3. Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise.
  4. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
  5. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  6. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  7. Provide excellent customer service.
  8. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  9. Assist with stocking, pricing, and merchandising.
  10. Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
