Job Description

The Home Depot is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and detail-oriented Associate - Freight/Receiving to join our team. We are seeking someone who is driven to succeed and eager to learn new skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to follow detailed instructions. The successful Associate - Freight/Receiving must possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and unload freight shipments and accurately check contents to verify that all items are accounted for.
  2. Track and accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  4. Assist customers with locating items in the store and providing product information.
  5. Stock shelves and organize stockrooms according to established procedures.
  6. Assist in the receiving process by sorting and organizing products.
  7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and order new products as needed.
  9. Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles.
  10. Ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored in the correct locations.
