  1. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure all received merchandise is properly labeled, tagged, and sorted according to company guidelines.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of received merchandise to identify any damages or discrepancies.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and management to resolve any receiving issues or concerns.
  5. Maintain organized and efficient inventory storage and retrieval systems.
  6. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by tracking and reporting on merchandise movement.
  7. Collaborate with sales associates and other departments to ensure efficient flow of merchandise.
  8. Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling merchandise and operating equipment.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  10. Continuously monitor and report on inventory levels to support store operations and sales goals.
  11. Participate in inventory counts and audits as needed.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any merchandise-related inquiries or concerns.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling and inventory control.
  14. Continuously strive to enhance productivity and efficiency in receiving processes.
  15. Actively contribute to the overall success of the store by supporting other team members and departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In A Warehouse Or Retail Environment: The Ideal Candidate For A Freight Receiving Associate Job At The Home Depot Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Processes And Procedures Involved In Receiving And Processing Incoming Freight.
