  1. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Organize and sort merchandise according to designated areas and categories.
  3. Prepare merchandise for stocking on sales floor by properly labeling, tagging, and scanning items.
  4. Maintain inventory control by accurately recording received and shipped merchandise.
  5. Communicate with vendors and delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure merchandise is properly stocked and organized on the sales floor.
  7. Assist customers with locating and loading merchandise, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  8. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise as needed.
  9. Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in handling and storing merchandise.
  11. Cross-train in other areas of the store to provide support and coverage as needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and store layout to assist customers and provide accurate information.
  13. Follow company policies and procedures in all tasks and interactions with customers and colleagues.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity in freight and receiving processes.
  15. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
