Freight/Receiving Associate

1. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Verify the accuracy of received merchandise and report any discrepancies to management.
3. Organize and stock received merchandise in designated areas.
4. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to the sales floor for customer purchase.
5. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, including disposing of packaging materials and keeping work areas free of clutter.
6. Communicate with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns with merchandise deliveries.
7. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
8. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
9. Assist with inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies.
10. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with loading and unloading merchandise for customers.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and team members.
13. Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
