- Ensure proper placement and presentation of products in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned store sections.
- Execute merchandising plans and directives provided by management.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock needs.
- Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays and product layouts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of product placement and pricing.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of merchandise, including unloading and organizing shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with product location.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to company policies at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve the customer shopping experience through creativity and innovation.
- Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to management in a timely manner.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay current on company processes and procedures.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting The Home Depot's values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Merchandising And Retail Operations: Candidates For The Merchandising Execution Associate Role Should Have Prior Experience In Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Planograms, Inventory Management, And Visual Merchandising Techniques.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills: The Merchandising Execution Associate Will Be Responsible For Setting Up Displays, Restocking Shelves, And Managing Inventory. This Requires Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills To Ensure That Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And On Time.
Attention To Detail: The Home Depot Places A Strong Emphasis On Maintaining High Standards Of Presentation And Organization. As Such, Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Displays Are Set Up Correctly And Shelves Are Fully Stocked.
Ability To Work Independently: The Merchandising Execution Associate Will Often Work Independently, Without Direct Supervision. This Requires A Self-Starter Who Can Take Initiative And Work Efficiently Without Constant Guidance.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Involves A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects, Standing For Extended Periods, And Climbing Ladders. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
