Sr. Data Analyst

The Home Depot is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join our team and help drive decision making for our retail business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analytics and will be able to effectively collaborate across teams. The Sr. Data Analyst will need to possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of data architecture, and the ability to create and maintain data pipelines.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field• 5+ years of experience leading data analysis and modeling efforts• Expert in SQL and experience in other data analysis tools such as Python, R, Tableau or PowerBI• Strong understanding of data management principles, data transformation, and data visualization• Proven experience in data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technology teams• Self-starter and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for data collection, transformation, and analysis • Perform data analysis to uncover trends and patterns in customer behavior and other business metrics • Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms to inform decision making • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools (Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI) to create meaningful visualizations and reports • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement • Monitor data quality and accuracy and develop processes to ensure data integrity • Develop strategies to optimize data collection, storage, and use • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
