Landscape Supervisor

As a Landscape Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. - Oversee and manage all landscaping activities on the company's properties, including but not limited to gardening, tree care, irrigation, and pest control.
- Ensure that all landscaping work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Develop and implement landscaping plans and schedules to ensure the proper care and maintenance of all outdoor spaces.
- Train and supervise a team of landscapers, providing guidance and support to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of landscaping supplies, equipment, and tools, and make recommendations for new purchases as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify any landscaping issues and take appropriate action to address them.
- Collaborate with property managers and other teams to plan and execute landscaping projects and events.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in landscaping to continuously improve and enhance the company's outdoor spaces.
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting open communication and providing ongoing feedback and recognition to team members.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Landscape Design And Horticulture: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Landscape Design Principles And A Deep Knowledge Of Plants And Their Care. This Should Include Experience In Creating And Maintaining A Variety Of Landscape Styles And Types, Such As Gardens, Lawns, And Native Landscapes.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Landscape Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Landscape Workers And Ensuring That All Projects Are Completed Efficiently And To The Highest Standards. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Such As The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction And Feedback, And Motivate Team Members, Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
Experience With Budgeting And Project Management: The Irvine Company's Landscape Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Managing Budgets And Timelines For Various Landscape Projects. As Such, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Budgeting And Project Management, Including The Ability To Create And Manage Project Schedules, Track Expenses, And Make Adjustments As Needed To Ensure Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Landscape Supervisor Will Be Required To Work Closely With Other Departments And Interact With Residents, Clients, And Vendors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Individuals At All Levels, Resolve Conflicts, And Maintain Positive Relationships, Are Crucial For This Role.
Knowledge Of Safety And Environmental Regulations: The Irvine Company Places A High Priority On Safety And Sustainability, And The Landscape Supervisor Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Landscaping And Environmental Conservation.
