Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Data Journalist to join The New York Times team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to help inform our stories. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of turning data into compelling stories.You’ll need a degree in journalism, data science, or a related field, plus a minimum of 3-5 years of data journalism experience. You should also be comfortable working with a wide range of datasets, from financial and economic to social and political. Above all, you should have a passion for uncovering the stories behind the data and for helping readers make sense of the world around them.
