Job Description

The New York Times is looking for an experienced Journalist to join our world-class newsroom and help create award-winning stories. We’re looking for someone with sharp news judgment and a passion for finding, writing, and producing stories that engage our readers and have an impact. If you have the qualifications and desire to join a newsroom that values diversity and excellence, this is the role for you.The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, plus at least five years of work experience as a journalist. They must have a proven track record of breaking news and developing stories that capture the attention of readers. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable covering a wide range of topics, is quick on their feet, and can think outside the box to create engaging content. The successful candidate will be a great communicator who is able to work collaboratively with editors, other journalists, and other staff members to ensure stories are accurate, timely, and informative.
