Job Description

As a Color Coordinator at The North Face, you will play a major role in delivering unrivaled color expressions for our products. You will be a creative problem-solver, driving innovation and improving standards for our color strategy. We are looking for a passionate individual who is inspired by the outdoors and the pursuit of adventure, and who is excited to create lively color palettes for our products.The ideal Color Coordinator candidate will have a deep understanding of color theory and a keen eye for detail. You will have a strong background in print design and a knack for identifying trends in color and design. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively, and be able to anticipate customer needs and the needs of the business. In addition to having excellent communication skills, you should also have the ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize color theory to develop vibrant and impactful color palettes for The North Face products.
  2. Analyze trends in color and design to ensure products are current and competitive in the marketplace.
  3. Create, review, and optimize production-ready color designs.
  4. Maintain organized records and files of all color designs.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as product design and marketing, to develop color strategies.
  6. Research customer preferences and needs to ensure colors are in line with their expectations.
  7. Monitor industry trends in color and design and adjust color strategies accordingly.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities for color innovation and improvement.
  9. Stay up to date with contemporary color trends and materials.
  10. Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers concerning color development.
