Job Description

You will work closely with our design and product development teams to create patterns that balance both style and functionality. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our apparel meets the highest standards of fit, comfort, and durability.To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of garment construction and the ability to interpret design concepts into accurate patterns.   1. Collaborate with design and product development teams to understand and interpret design concepts into accurate patterns.
  2. Use technical expertise and knowledge of garment construction to create patterns that balance style and functionality.
  3. Ensure that all patterns meet the highest standards of fit, comfort, and durability.
  4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify patterns.
  5. Conduct fitting sessions and make necessary adjustments to patterns.
  6. Communicate with overseas manufacturing partners to ensure accurate and timely production of patterns.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in patternmaking techniques.
  8. Work closely with sample makers to ensure patterns are accurately translated into physical samples.
  9. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot and resolve any pattern-related issues.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of all patterns and pattern revisions.
  11. Assist with grading and marking patterns for different sizes.
  12. Participate in design and product development meetings to provide input and technical expertise.
  13. Continuously strive for improvement and innovation in patternmaking processes.
  14. Adhere to brand standards and guidelines for fit and patterns.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Patternmaking Software And Experience Creating Digital Patterns For Apparel Products.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Patternmaking And Garment Construction, Preferably In The Outdoor Or Athletic Apparel Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Technical Design And The Ability To Translate Design Concepts Into Accurate Patterns.

  • Proficiency In Creating And Grading Patterns For A Variety Of Sizes And Body Types.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Fit And Construction Issues During The Patternmaking Process.
