Prototype Sewer

We at The North Face are looking for an experienced Prototype Sewer to join our dynamic team. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong work ethic. We are looking for a passionate individual who takes pride in their work and is eager to learn and grow within the industry.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in industrial sewing and pattern development. They must have excellent hand-eye coordination and be able to work with a variety of fabrics and materials, as well as be able to operate and maintain various sewing machines and equipment. Additionally, they should be comfortable working in a team and collaborating with other departments. Ultimately, the successful applicant will be able to produce high-quality garments in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilizing industrial sewing machines and other equipment to produce high-quality garments.
2. Developing patterns and constructing garments from provided specifications.
3. Inspecting and maintaining sewing machines and equipment.
4. Maintaining a neat, organized, and safe work space.
5. Collaborating and working with other departments.
6. Adhering to safety standards and procedures.
7. Operating in an efficient and productive manner to meet deadlines.
8. Maintaining a knowledge of and working with a variety of fabrics and materials.
9. Utilizing excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
