Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the materials management team, including managing team members, setting objectives, and evaluating performance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective materials management and supply chain operations.
  3. Analyze current materials management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and inventory control systems.
  5. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of materials.
  6. Monitor product availability and adjust inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  7. Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  9. Monitor industry trends and recommend changes to materials management processes.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
