Senior Product Designer

At The North Face, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our creative team and take our outdoor apparel and gear to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and a deep understanding of design principles, as well as a desire to make a meaningful impact on our product designs.We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product design, engineering, and/or product development. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of current trends in design, materials, and manufacturing processes, and should have experience working in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative product designs that meet The North Face’s standards of excellence and comply with industry trends.
2. Create concept designs with sketches or digital renderings.
3. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that designs are feasible and cost-effective.
4. Monitor the entire product development process from concept to production.
5. Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in product design.
6. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that designs are being produced properly.
7. Utilize 3D CAD software to create product prototypes.
8. Research and stay abreast of current trends and technologies in product design.
9. Present design ideas to stakeholders and teams.
10. Manage team projects and ensure deadlines are met.
