  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient access to healthcare services at The Ohio State University.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of patient access services, including scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
  3. Lead a team of employees and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service to patients.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to streamline processes and improve patient flow.
  5. Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce wait times.
  6. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and patient privacy laws.
  7. Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any issues related to patient access services.

  12. Act as a point of contact for patient complaints and concerns, and work towards finding solutions to improve patient satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within Patient Access Services Or Revenue Cycle Management.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Insurance Guidelines, And Revenue Cycle Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Technology Used In Patient Access Services, Such As Electronic Health Records And Revenue Cycle Management Software.
