  1. Provide individual and group career counseling sessions to students, assisting them in identifying their career goals, interests, and skills.
  2. Conduct career assessments and interpret results to help students gain a better understanding of their strengths and potential career paths.
  3. Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty to incorporate career development into curriculum and course offerings.
  4. Develop and facilitate workshops and programs on resume writing, job search strategies, networking, and other career-related topics.
  5. Stay current on industry trends and job market information to provide relevant and up-to-date career advice to students.
  6. Utilize a variety of resources and tools, including online databases and job boards, to help students explore career opportunities.
  7. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress, and provide reports to track success and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, providing guidance and support as they navigate their career journeys.
  9. Collaborate with employers and alumni to develop internship and job opportunities for students.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve counseling skills and knowledge.
  11. Supervise and mentor junior career counselors and staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds, and actively promote diversity and inclusion in career development.
  13. Participate in campus events and initiatives to promote career services and engage with students.
  14. Stay informed about changes in career counseling techniques and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to the career counseling program.
  15. Uphold the ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the National Career Development Association and other relevant professional organizations.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Career Counseling Or Related Field

  • Certification As A National Certified Counselor (Ncc) Or Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc)

  • Knowledge Of Career Development Theories And Techniques

  • Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Understanding Of Cultural Competency In Counseling
