Job Description

The Private Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaning mini bars in guest bungalows and villas. Offer guests enjoyable, expertly served food and beverage items reflecting the high customer service standards of The Resort at Pelican Hill.

Job Duties:

  • Clean, stock and maintain mini bar in guest bungalow and villas.
  • Accurately count inventory in mini bars and inventory cage, rotate product including pulling any expired product.
  • Charge guest through MICROS POS system for items purchased by guest.
  • Maintains on average 80 mini bars per shift.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service before being asked.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Must have current California Food Handler Card or willingness and ability to obtain California Food Handling Card before first day of employment.

  • 6 months experience in a retail/stock, or warehouse environment( product placement background).

  • Must be comfortable driving golf cart, able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

  • Strong guest service and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner.
