Job Description

Do you have the technical know-how and passion to take our Core Lab Automation to the next level? The University of Kansas Health System is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Core Lab Automation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory automation systems. If you are looking for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a dedicated team, this is the job for you!To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, Biology or a related field. Previous experience with laboratory automation systems is highly preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain laboratory automation systems.
  2. Troubleshoot any issues that arise with laboratory automation systems.
  3. Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory automation systems.
  4. Monitor and optimize the performance of laboratory automation systems.
  5. Develop and implement procedures for laboratory automation systems.
  6. Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to laboratory automation.
  7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to lab personnel.
  8. Participate in meetings to discuss laboratory automation systems.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful integration of laboratory automation systems.
  10. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications
