
LPN - Organ Transplant
At The University of Kansas Health System, we are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Organ Transplant team. The successful candidate for this role will be an integral part of the care team, providing direct patient care and working collaboratively with the rest of the transplant team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and families.The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in a clinical setting, along with experience or exposure to organ transplant and renal care. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing organ transplant or renal care.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the transplant team to ensure best possible outcomes.
- Utilize strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure quality care.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high level of quality care at all times.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Follow all state and federal regulations related to the practice of LPN.
- Participate in continuing education courses and professional development opportunities.
- Administer medication and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and document all care provided.
- Assist with patient discharge and follow-up care.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills
