
Mobile Phlebotomist
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced and passionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong phlebotomy background and excellent customer service skills. They will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients and donors in a safe and accurate manner. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in difficult situations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable traveling to multiple locations and who is able to establish a positive, professional rapport with patients.The ideal candidate for this position must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of phlebotomy experience. They must have a current certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent. They must also be comfortable using a variety of medical equipment and be familiar with the latest laboratory and safety procedures. The successful candidate must also be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
