Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced and passionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong phlebotomy background and excellent customer service skills. They will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients and donors in a safe and accurate manner. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in difficult situations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable traveling to multiple locations and who is able to establish a positive, professional rapport with patients.The ideal candidate for this position must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of phlebotomy experience. They must have a current certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent. They must also be comfortable using a variety of medical equipment and be familiar with the latest laboratory and safety procedures. The successful candidate must also be able to read, write, and communicate in English. In addition, they must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to travel to multiple locations.If you are an experienced and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist who is looking to join an outstanding team, we want to hear from you!
