Job Description

At The University of Kansas Health System, we are looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pediatrics Practice Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pediatric care services, ensuring that our practice delivers the highest levels of patient care and customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least five years of experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in a pediatric practice. The individual must possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills; have experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures; and be proficient in Microsoft Office and other healthcare information systems.This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and help make a positive difference in the lives of children and families in our community. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pediatric care services
  2. Ensure that the practice delivers the highest levels of patient care and customer service
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures
  4. Monitor staff performance and ensure quality standards are met
  5. Create and manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective practices
  6. Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when appropriate
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to staff
  8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  9. Coordinate training and development activities for staff
  10. Maintain and update medical records
  11. Manage billing and collections
  12. Create reports and analyze data to identify areas of improvement
