Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Physician - Electrophysiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our growing Electrophysiology program. This position requires a compassionate physician who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.The Physician - Electrophysiologist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation and follow-up.The ideal candidate should possess a Medical Degree and be board-eligible/board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology. The candidate should have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders.
  2. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation and follow-up.
  3. Provide the highest quality of care to patients.
  4. Maintain excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Remain up-to-date with advances in cardiac treatment and technology.
  7. Follow ethical and legal guidelines in all medical procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care.
  9. Monitor patient’s progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  10. Schedule and attend patient appointments and follow-up visits.
