Job Description

Are you a music enthusiast and passionate about the magic of Disney? The Walt Disney Company is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Disney Branded Television Music Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and creative minds in the entertainment industry, while gaining hands-on experience in the world of television music production. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of music and its impact on storytelling.   1. Assist in the creation and maintenance of music cue sheets for Disney branded television projects.
  2. Work closely with composers, music supervisors, and music editors to ensure timely delivery of music assets.
  3. Help manage the music budget for each project and track expenses.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper use of music in promotional materials and on-air broadcasts.
  5. Conduct research on music trends and provide recommendations for potential music placements.
  6. Attend music spotting sessions and provide detailed notes for music editors and composers.
  7. Support the licensing and clearance process for music used in Disney branded television projects.
  8. Assist in coordinating and organizing music recording sessions and live performances.
  9. Help maintain the music library and ensure all assets are properly labeled and organized.
  10. Provide administrative support to the music team, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Musical Background: The Ideal Candidate For This Internship Should Have A Deep Understanding And Passion For Music, Including Experience With Musical Composition, Production, And/Or Performance.

  • Familiarity With Disney Brands: A Thorough Knowledge And Appreciation Of The Various Disney Franchises, Including Films, Television Shows, And Theme Parks, Is Essential For This Role. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of The Musical Styles And Themes Associated With These Brands.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As An Intern, You Will Be Working With A Variety Of Individuals And Teams Within The Walt Disney Company. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Necessary To Effectively Collaborate And Execute Tasks.

  • Experience With Music Software: Proficiency In Music Software Such As Protools, Logic, And/Or Ableton Is Required For This Position. The Ability To Record, Mix, And Edit Music Is A Crucial Aspect Of The Role.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Walt Disney Company Is A Dynamic And Fast-Paced Environment. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Multitask, Work Efficiently Under Pressure, And Adapt Quickly To Changing Priorities.
