  1. Develop and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for The Walt Disney Company's software projects.
  2. Collaborate with software developers and other team members to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
  3. Create user-friendly guides, manuals, and tutorials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Ensure all technical documentation adheres to company standards and guidelines.
  5. Conduct thorough research to understand complex software concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand language.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve technical writing practices.
  7. Mentor and guide junior technical writers in the team.

  12. Continuously improve and streamline processes for creating and updating technical documentation.
  13. Conduct quality assurance checks on all technical documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  14. Stay informed about Disney's brand voice and incorporate it into all technical writing.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the software projects by effectively communicating complex technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Technical Writing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Software Development And Technical Writing.

  • Expertise In Various Technical Writing Tools And Methodologies, Such As Xml, Dita, And Agile.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
