- Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for The Walt Disney Company, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing employee payments.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to gather and maintain accurate employee data for payroll processing.
- Analyze payroll data and identify any discrepancies or issues, taking necessary steps to resolve them.
- Review and approve payroll calculations, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, and tax deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of paychecks or direct deposits to employees.
- Manage and maintain payroll records and reports, including tax filings and year-end processes.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members in the payroll department.
- Communicate with employees and address any payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
- Work closely with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of payroll expenses.
- Implement and maintain payroll software or systems to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
