As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing fire protection systems for our various theme parks, resorts, and other facilities.   1. Design and implement fire protection systems for theme parks, resorts, and other Disney facilities.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to prevent and mitigate fire hazards.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of junior fire protection engineers to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire protection technology to continuously improve Disney's safety measures.
  6. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with local fire departments and other emergency response agencies.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on fire protection engineering and provide guidance and support to other departments.
  9. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures in case of fire incidents.
  10. Communicate with stakeholders and present reports on fire protection systems, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  11. Ensure timely completion of all fire protection projects within budget and according to Disney's standards.
  12. Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to provide fire protection expertise and support company-wide initiatives.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and awareness among employees and guests by organizing training and awareness programs.
  14. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all fire protection systems and activities.
  15. Uphold Disney's brand and image by adhering to company values and providing exceptional service to guests and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Fire Protection Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Fire Protection Engineering, Preferably In A Large-Scale Entertainment Or Theme Park Setting.

  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In Fire Protection Engineering.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Nfpa Codes And Standards For Fire Protection Systems.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Oversee And Coordinate Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
