
National News Desk Video Editor
The responsibilities of this position include editing and publishing video of national news events and creating quick edits and stories that provide context. The ideal candidate will also shoot news events in the field for their own enterprise stories. The Washington Post is seeking an editor to join our explanatory video team. This is a role for a multifaceted storyteller who can move seamlessly between breaking news, quick-turnaround explainers and enterprise.
3+ years of related experience
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner
Must have resume and examples of past work. An editor reel is preferred.
