  1. Perform hands-on assembly of scientific equipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
  2. Follow production schedules and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of products.
  3. Ensure the quality and accuracy of all assembled products by conducting thorough inspections and tests.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects during the assembly process.
  6. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  8. Keep accurate records of production activities and report any concerns or issues to a supervisor.
  9. Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels of assembly materials and supplies.
  10. Willingness to cross-train and perform other duties as assigned to support team goals and objectives.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  12. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in assembly techniques and equipment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Assembly Of Complex Mechanical And Electronic Components: Assembler I And Ii Should Both Possess A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Assembling Mechanical And Electronic Components, Preferably In A Manufacturing Environment.

  • Proficiency In Reading Technical Drawings And Schematics: Both Positions Require The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Schematics In Order To Assemble Products Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Knowledge Of Quality Control Processes: Assemblers At Thermo Fisher Scientific Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Be Able To Identify And Report Any Defects Or Issues During The Assembly Process.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Assemblers Must Have A Sharp Eye For Detail And Be Able To Assemble Products With Precision And Accuracy. This Is Especially Important For Assembler Ii, As They May Be Responsible For More Complex Assemblies.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Both Assembler I And Ii Must Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Production Environment, Meeting Production Quotas And Deadlines While Maintaining High Quality Standards.
