Business Analyst
The Sr. Business Analyst, Enterprise Data Platform & Analytics at Thermo Fisher Scientific is a multidimensional position covering technology, people, process, and data strategies for the Enterprise Data Solutions team that support Thermo Fisher internal divisions and groups. Coordinate with architecture and data delivery team on effort estimates, timeline and resource assignments. For Agile Projects, collaborate with Product Owner on epic and user story definitions. Provide Business critical demand/escalation by leveraging internal Architecture, delivery, and operations organization. Develop documentation and training materials, participate with customer groups in the planning for longer-term systems enhancements. Document high-level business requirements, project kick-off documentation. Monitor project-based budgets and timelines as well as tracking time in corporate project management tools.
More than 5+ years’ experience in an data & analytics role with a strong understanding of technical, business and operational process requirements
Domain knowledge of operations areas such as procurement, manufacturing, planning, supply chain, logistics and quality
Experience in providing guidance on and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
Hands-on experience on the execution of Agile/SCRUM processes and repeatable, predictable, and high-quality delivery of software solutions
