Buyer

Purchase components and manage delivery schedules with Suppliers using ERP system to meet Production Schedule and/or customer orders. Buy parts according to specifications ensuring compliance to quality standards and CGMP manufacturing requirements. Work with Suppliers to resolve quality issues. Work cross functionally with other departments such as Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting in order to meet business needs. Represent the company at all times with professional and ethical conduct when interacting with all contacts, including suppliers, customers, and colleagues. Visit suppliers as needed. Participate in continuous improvement activities (PPI) in order to remove waste from our processes and improve performance. Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing for purchased items.
