- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to understand market trends and customer demand.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer data to identify potential demand fluctuations.
- Utilize forecasting tools and methods to continuously improve forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate demand forecasts and changes to relevant stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues to ensure product availability and minimize backorders.
- Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for inventory optimization.
- Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies to support business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in demand planning to continuously improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with global teams to align demand planning processes and share best practices.
- Present demand forecasts and analysis to senior management and make recommendations based on findings.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve supply chain processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture within the supply chain department.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning Or Related Field.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Recommendations.
Proficient In Demand Planning Software And Tools, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Jda.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
