- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned products and regions, taking into account historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to gather and analyze data and insights to inform demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and market changes to identify potential risks and opportunities for demand planning.
- Utilize statistical forecasting techniques and tools to generate accurate demand plans and adjust as needed based on real-time market data.
- Communicate demand forecasts and plans to internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform demand planning decisions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop annual budgets and sales plans based on demand forecasts.
- Provide support and insights for new product launches, promotions, and other sales initiatives to ensure accurate demand planning.
- Stay updated on Thermo Fisher Scientific's products, services, and processes to effectively represent the company and its offerings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, to ensure compliance and ethical business practices.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning, Forecasting, Or Supply Chain Planning.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Large Sets Of Data.
