
Engineer II, Field Service

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Thermo Fisher Scientific's scientific instruments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Repair and service scientific instruments with accuracy and precision, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels.
- Provide exceptional technical support to customers, both in person and remotely, to address inquiries and resolve any issues they may have with our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet customer needs and improve product performance.
- Continuously monitor and analyze instrument performance data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service activities, including equipment maintenance and repair, customer interactions, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless service experience and promote customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in scientific technology to provide knowledgeable and informed support to customers.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and regulations while performing all service activities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Thermo Fisher Scientific, representing the company's values and commitment to excellence in all customer interactions.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Technical Field Service Role, Preferably In The Scientific Equipment Industry.
Proficient In Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Scientific Instruments, Including Knowledge Of Electronics, Mechanics, And Software.
Strong Customer Service Skills And Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Individuals.
Willingness To Travel Frequently And Work Independently In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.
