Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a skilled Formulation Technician to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who has a deep understanding of formulation development, is a dedicated team player, and has a strong attention to detail. As our Formulation Technician, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing new formulations and performing analyses on samples.The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field• 1-3 years of experience in a formulation laboratory setting• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other teams• Strong problem-solving skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard laboratory safety procedures

Responsibilities of Formulation Technician:

  1. Develop and optimize new formulations to meet customer needs.
  2. Monitor and analyze samples to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  3. Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
  4. Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure successful product formulation.
  5. Troubleshoot issues that arise during formulation development.
  6. Follow applicable good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and standard laboratory safety procedures.
  7. Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to track and report progress.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
  9. Keep up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  10. Provide guidance and training to junior staff members.
