
Material Handler II

- Efficiently and accurately move materials throughout the facility according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with materials, ensuring timely resolution.
- Keep work area clean and organized, following 5S principles.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Comply with all quality standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor new or less experienced Material Handlers.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any material-related issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Material Handler Or Warehouse Position.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Proficient In Operating Material Handling Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Storage Systems.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Up To 50 Pounds, And Perform Physically Demanding Tasks For Extended Periods Of Time.
