  1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for Thermo Fisher Scientific's products.
  2. Ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes through rigorous testing and analysis.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Conduct research and experiments to support process development and troubleshooting.
  5. Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders, including senior management.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in scientific and engineering processes.
  7. Train and mentor junior team members in scientific and technical skills.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all experiments, procedures, and results.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory.
  10. Identify and address any potential risks or issues in the manufacturing process.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Operations, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology) With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Or Biotech Industry Setting.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Upstream And Downstream Bioprocessing Techniques, Including Cell Culture, Purification, And Analytical Methods.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Troubleshooting And Optimizing Manufacturing Processes, As Well As Implementing Process Improvements And Cost-Saving Measures.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Prioritize Tasks To Meet Deadlines.

  • Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Colleagues At All Levels Of The Organization And Present Complex Data To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
