1. Conduct and oversee all phases of clinical trials, including planning, initiation, monitoring, and close-out, in accordance with applicable regulations and protocols.
2. Develop and implement study protocols, informed consent forms, and study-related documents.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
4. Identify and resolve potential study issues and risks, and provide solutions to ensure study timelines and objectives are met.
5. Train and mentor junior CRAs on study procedures, regulations, and company SOPs.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for investigational sites and maintain strong relationships with study personnel.
7. Collect, review, and verify study data and ensure timely and accurate data entry into electronic systems.
8. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, data management, and biostatistics.
9. Conduct site qualification, initiation, and close-out visits, and participate in site audits and inspections.
10. Communicate study progress, issues, and resolutions to the project team and management.
11. Participate in the development and review of clinical protocols and other study-related documents.
12. Review and provide input on study budgets, contracts, and vendor selection.
13. Monitor study metrics and provide regular updates to management.
14. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in clinical research.
15. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality of clinical trials.
