- Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific, in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners, including distributors, resellers, and other channel partners, to expand the company's reach and increase sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure effective execution of the channel strategy.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks in the channel landscape.
- Conduct regular analysis and reporting on channel performance, including sales, revenue, and profitability, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of channel managers, providing guidance and support in developing and maintaining relationships with partners.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with channel partners, ensuring alignment with company policies and goals.
- Develop and manage budgets for channel programs and initiatives, tracking and reporting on expenses and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and market developments, and provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and promoting the company's products and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all channel activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the channel strategy and make adjustments as needed to drive growth and increase market share.
- Act as a key point of contact for channel partners, addressing any issues or concerns and fostering positive working relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs for channel partners, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively sell Thermo Fisher Scientific products.
- Proactively identify and address any potential conflicts or challenges within the channel, working towards resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Channel Management, Preferably In The Life Sciences Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Sales And Marketing Strategies, Including Experience With Channel Partner Programs.
Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Successful Partnerships With Channel Partners.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Growth Through Channel Partners.
