- Oversee and manage the distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Lead and motivate a team of distribution staff to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity within the distribution team.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize distribution schedules.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Train and onboard new team members to ensure they are equipped to meet job requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines within the distribution department.
- Monitor and analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of distribution activities and produce reports as needed.
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues or risks within the distribution process.
- Participate in regular meetings with other department leaders to discuss overall company performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in distribution technology to continuously improve processes and operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the distribution team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Distribution Or Logistics Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, And Supply Chain Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Diverse Team.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Results And Meeting Performance Metrics, With A Focus On Continuous Improvement And Operational Efficiency.
