Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Required Qualifications:• A bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in sustainability or environmental stewardship• Extensive knowledge of environmental sustainability principles• Proven experience developing and implementing sustainability initiatives• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives that align with Timberland’s environmental mission.
2. Monitor and evaluate sustainability initiatives to ensure they meet the company’s standards.
3. Research and analyze current and emerging trends in sustainability and environmental stewardship.
4. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
5. Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure the success of sustainability initiatives.
6. Develop and present reports to relevant stakeholders, such as senior management and external partners.
7. Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and create strategies for mitigating environmental impacts.
8. Develop and maintain environmental sustainability policies and procedures.
9. Stay up-to-date on relevant environmental regulations and best practices.
10. Coordinate with other teams to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
