Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join the Timberland team and help us lead the charge in creating a more eco-friendly and sustainable future. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives across the company, as well as finding new and innovative ways to reduce our environmental footprint. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives across the company • Monitor and report on Timberland’s environmental performance • Research and recommend new and innovative ways to reduce the company’s environmental footprint • Stay up to date on current trends and developments in the field of environmental sustainability • Maintain relationships with external organizations, such as NGOs, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations • Liaise with other departments to ensure that sustainability initiatives are incorporated into day-to-day operations • Create training materials and programs to educate staff on environmental issues and sustainability best practices • Monitor external communication and public relations related to environmental sustainability • Develop and maintain a database of sustainability-related data and metrics • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
