Job Description

We’re looking for an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Timberland! Our ideal candidate is a passionate and driven individual with an eye for detail and a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.The Environmental Sustainability Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives designed to reduce the company’s environmental footprint. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, environmental regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate should have a background in environmental studies and a strong commitment to sustainability.To be successful in this role, the Environmental Sustainability Specialist should possess excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. They should also be a creative self-starter with a good understanding of the latest environmental trends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement initiatives to reduce Timberland’s environmental footprint.
  2. Monitor environmental regulations and best practices and recommend changes to the company’s sustainability policies.
  3. Analyze the existing environmental impact of the company’s operations and recommend ways to reduce it.
  4. Research and identify new opportunities for Timberland to improve its sustainability practices.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and partners to promote sustainability initiatives.
  6. Keep up to date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies.
  7. Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives.
  8. Prepare and present sustainability reports to management.
  9. Create educational materials to promote sustainability within the company.
  10. Provide training and support for employees on sustainability initiatives.
