Merchandising Intern

1. Assist the Merchandising team in curating and planning product assortments by conducting market and trend research.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as buying, planning, and inventory management to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
3. Help with product selection and assortment planning by analyzing sales data and customer preferences.
4. Participate in product development meetings and provide insights on customer needs and trends.
5. Assist in creating visual merchandising displays and layouts to showcase products in-store.
6. Support the team in managing inventory levels and identifying slow-moving products.
7. Help with the preparation of product presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
8. Attend buying trips and vendor meetings to gain a deeper understanding of the retail industry.
9. Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote products.
10. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of product inventory, sales data, and market trends.
11. Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Merchandising team.
