  1. Monitor and enforce all product compliance regulations to ensure that all products meet legal and safety standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of products and suppliers to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws and regulations related to product safety and compliance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sourcing, and quality assurance, to ensure compliance standards are met throughout the product development process.
  5. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to regulations.
  6. Communicate with external regulatory agencies to obtain necessary certifications and approvals for products.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential compliance issues, providing recommendations for corrective action.
  8. Train and educate employees on compliance standards and best practices.
  9. Investigate and resolve any compliance-related complaints or issues from customers or regulatory agencies.
  10. Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations to anticipate potential compliance challenges and proactively address them.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they understand and comply with product safety and compliance requirements.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation related to product compliance.
  13. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide compliance updates and recommendations.
  14. Continuously assess and improve compliance processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the company in compliance-related meetings and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Product Compliance, Preferably Within The Retail Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And International Product Regulations, Including Cpsia, Prop 65, And Reach.

  • Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Sourcing, Manufacturing, And Distribution.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
