Job Description

  1. Collaborate with the buying team to assist in selecting and purchasing merchandise for Tommy Hilfiger retail stores.
  2. Stay updated on current fashion trends and consumer preferences to inform buying decisions.
  3. Attend trade shows and fashion events to gather market intelligence and identify potential new vendors.
  4. Assist in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed buying decisions.
  5. Conduct regular store visits to assess inventory levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate terms and pricing to ensure the best deals for the company.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock levels to ensure availability of popular items.
  8. Coordinate with visual merchandising team to ensure store displays and product placement align with buying strategy.
  9. Assist in creating and maintaining purchase orders and managing the buying calendar.
  10. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure a cohesive buying strategy.
  11. Actively contribute to the development of new buying strategies and processes to improve efficiency and drive sales.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  13. Provide support to the buying team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and report generation.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform buying decisions.
  15. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Tommy Hilfiger brand identity and adhere to brand standards in all buying activities.

Job Qualifications
