Fabric Assistant

Individual will assist in sourcing and developing fabrics with appropriate aesthetic and costs for brand. Individual will also assist in the creation and maintenance of the fabric resource library to support seasonal inspiration as well as an archive of Tommy Hilfiger seasonal production fabrics. Assist in research fabric trends by attending mill fabric appointments and local fabric shows with Manager. Assist in creating fabric boards to represent seasonal fabric trends. Work with design, production and overseas offices to develop qualities that are appropriate for the season and fit Tommy Hilfiger aesthetic and cost and quality. Assist in entering and maintaining fabric information in fabric database and fabric books. Manage receipt of new fabrics and file accordingly by type in fabric library. Maintain a library of fabrics that are representative of raw materials that could be used in bulk production. Assist in scheduling fabric & supplier appointments.
