  1. Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing process.
  2. Conduct regular analysis of production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean principles and best practices.
  4. Train and mentor team members on lean techniques and tools to create a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the success of lean initiatives.
  6. Identify and eliminate waste in the production process through the use of lean tools such as value stream mapping and 5S.
  7. Lead kaizen events and facilitate problem-solving sessions to improve processes and resolve issues.
  8. Continuously review and update standardized work procedures to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners to optimize the supply chain.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in lean principles to drive innovation and improvement in manufacturing processes.
  11. Communicate and report on progress and results of lean initiatives to management and stakeholders.
  12. Uphold the core values of respect for people and continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Lean Principles And Methodologies: A Lean Manufacturing Specialist At Toyota Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Principles And Methodologies Of Lean Manufacturing, Such As Just-In-Time Production, Continuous Improvement, And Waste Reduction.

  • Experience In Implementing Lean Practices: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience In Implementing Lean Practices In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably Within The Automotive Industry. This Includes Identifying And Eliminating Waste, Improving Production Processes, And Optimizing Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Areas For Improvement. A Lean Manufacturing Specialist Should Also Be Able To Develop And Implement Effective Solutions To Streamline Processes And Improve Efficiency.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Collaboration And Communication Are Crucial In A Lean Manufacturing Environment. Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Train And Coach Employees On Lean Principles And Practices.

  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Toyota Places A Strong Emphasis On Continuous Learning And Improvement. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Thirst For Knowledge And Be Open To Learning New Techniques And Methodologies To Further Enhance Their Skills As A Lean Manufacturing Specialist.
