- Manage and maintain inventory levels of automotive parts and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand their parts and materials needs.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery.
- Monitor and track backorders and provide updates to relevant departments.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan and schedule production based on inventory levels.
- Manage and process returns and exchanges of defective or excess parts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in automotive parts and inventory management.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
- Train and supervise other team members in inventory and parts management procedures.
