Job Description

As a Parts and Inventory Coordinator at Toyota, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our dealership. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong understanding of inventory management and automotive parts. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering and receiving parts, and collaborating with our service and sales departments to meet customer needs.   1. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of automotive parts.
  2. Order and receive parts from suppliers in a timely manner.
  3. Collaborate with service and sales departments to understand their needs and ensure adequate parts availability.
  4. Keep track of parts usage and analyze data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
  5. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with parts orders and deliveries.
  6. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized parts storage area.
  8. Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling and storing parts.
  9. Keep up-to-date with new and existing parts and their functions to assist customers and colleagues.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  11. Coordinate and participate in periodic inventory counts.
  12. Create and maintain inventory reports for management.
  13. Train and supervise new employees on inventory management processes and procedures.
  14. Continuously improve and streamline inventory processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
